Navigator
We’re building a team that loves ophthalmology, embraces the education process, and welcomes a variety of patients. We are currently evaluating candidates for anticipated positions.
The time a doctor spends with a patient is brief. And, many times, patients don’t know what questions to ask until much later. Doctors need someone they can rely on to lead the way for patients through their next steps after a cataract diagnosis. Patients need that, too. That’s where Navigators step in.
Navigators are compassionate educators who add the human approach we all crave, especially when facing surgery. They help patients understand their options throughout the cataract surgery process.
Our ideal Navigator already works in eye care and is ready for a new challenge. Our team includes certified ophthalmic assistants, optometrists, and a variety of other eye care professionals. We will provide training and mentoring as you transition into your new role.
Navigators have four goals
Ensure a terrific patient experience
Represent a practice using their preferred talking points
Educate patients so they’re confident they understand their options and potential out of pocket costs
Maintain confidentiality
